The book chronicles Byrd’s influential role in shaping late-1960s and 1970s rock ’n’ roll visuals, featuring his iconic posters and album art for artists such as Jimi Hendrix, The Who, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, and Grateful Dead, as well as for the Woodstock Festival.
Beyond rock music, Byrd also created celebrated imagery for Broadway productions including Jesus Christ Superstar and Little Shop of Horrors.
