Handmade by Trecy Bleich
An addition to the line of Leona earrings, these pastel colored pair has the look of patchwork. Hand-beaded them with three different beading techniques then added cotton thread at the bottom to adhere to a crafted look. Leona pays homage to American quilt making and a great aunt who supplied the artist's mother with her hand work when she was a child. She used what she had to make very heavy quilts to keep us warm during the Georgia winters.
